Dr. Travis Stewart, DC
I grew up in small town East Texas (Tyler) where I spent most of my time playing sports and fishing with my dad. After High School, I joined the United States Air Force and trained to become a Firefighter at Louis F. Garland Fire Academy.
After graduating from fire school, I spent the remainder of time in service at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington, responding to emergency situations. It was amidst these moments, seeing chronic disease centered tragedies when I realized that my calling was not destined for the reactive side of healthcare, but the preventative.
Following my military service, I pursued and received my Bachelor's of Science in Human Movement and Physiology from Stephen F. Austin State University where I worked as a Cooper Institute Trained and Certified Personal Trainer before attending Chiropractic School at Parker University in Dallas, TX.
Throughout the Doctorate program, I experienced the transformative possibilities of the Philosophy, Science, and Art of Chiropractic. Not only did my physical capabilities dramatically improve, but the philosophy of Chiropractic, rooted in the expression of LIFE, changed mine forever.
